Andrea's Sweater

Tony Luib just sent me these pics of Andrea's sweater. He added 15 compasses he bought on ebay.
Once upon a time I was the first person to alter this garment. I bought metal flowers in an expensive notion store in NYC and sewed them on in stripes inspired by Andrea's flower farm she grew up in. It is sort of a joke because I always tell people she grew up on a flower farm and she thinks it is so strange that I think that that is critical news about her.

Hello Friends,

I have created an installation for this year's La
Superette sponsored this year by Exit Art.

This will be my largest single piece to date, as
well as one of my most exciting (and exhausting!) projects that I have
been involved with.

La Superette is an annual art market where over 100
professional and amateur artists and craftsmen present and sell
original, handmade gifts (ranging from $1-$100) including light
fixtures, i-pod holders, recycled accessories, multifunctional stuffed
animals, artist publications, homemade clothes, and so much more.

My installation is also a functional object used to display these items.

I highly encourage you to not only come out and see
this monstrous installation I have built, but to check out all the
cool stuff that may be potential holiday gifts.

This is ONE WEEKEND ONLY!!
